I’ve put together a curated gift list for the fashion lovers in your life that have an athletic body type. After all, I first created this blog for people with athletic bodies looking for outfit ideas.
I’ve taken some time to put together a shopping list of items from my favorite affordable retailers. Boohoo is currently having a 60% off everything sale. Gap has 50% off everything, plus an extra 10% off coupon on the homepage of their site that is applied immediately with the click of a button
I don’t want to toot my own horn too much, but I’ve come up with some pretty dope gifts for the women in your life that love fashion. Not only are they fabulous, they’re all under $100 – except one item that is $136. Everything on this list, I would buy. In fact, many of the items are similar to things I have in my closet today. Take a look…
Third trimester update! Here’s my light-hearted take on being pregnant in the last trimester. I got pregnant at 31 with PCOS. I delivered two months after my 32nd birthday- and I’m still salty I couldn’t have a drink. LOL real girl talk here!
You may not know this, but yellow is one of my favorite colors to wear. It’s vibrant, beautiful, and looks great against my complexion. I hate that so many of us stop wearing it for Fall. Of course, traditionally the deep mustard yellows come out to play this time of year, but why not incorporate a spring yellow here and there?
Here’s how to do a high bun or top knot bun on real natural hair, no extensions. I also show how to add weave to it for fullness. It’s quick and very easy to do. Perfect for work, events, and the holiday season.
Five years ago, I would have only paired this sheer, dressy, polkadot blouse with trousers. Or – dress pants. My “dressy” clothes could only date other dressy clothes, because anything else just wouldn’t look right. Ha! How prejudice of me.
I’m FINALLY able to shop for myself post delivery!! I’m currently 8 weeks post pregnancy and am just now able to fit clothing that isn’t maternity. Looking forward to my snapback, but for now I’m just taking my time and making sure my baby is healthy. Here’s my first fall 2018 try on fashion haul video.
I’ve fallen in love, and this time, it’s with a sneaker. The Comme des Garcon and Converse collaboration has been around 2009, and it doesn’t look like they’re going anywhere. I’m late to the party, but I don’t care. They’re cute, comfy, and give me a little hint of high fashion. I’ve paired it with some black high waisted leggings, a tank top, a scarf, and my favorite distressed denim jacket. Casual and killin’ it.
In this tutorial, not only am I teaching how to create a fluffy twistout on type 4 natural hair, I’m also teaching how to style an updo with bangs. I found a really cute headband that I wanted to create a tutorial around. The headband is sold out, but I recommend going to Forever 21 and finding their cheap hair accessories to spruce up simple hairstyles.
