HIT PLAY ON THIS BOMB TWISTOUT VIDEO TUTORIAL
This video showcases 3 beautiful hairstyles that look great on shrunken type 4 natural hair — as well as short hair. 4c Shrinkage is REAL! I have a ton of shrinkage and I’m sure many of you do too. Shrinkage often gets a bad rap because it increases tangles in natural hair and sometimes derails hair growth goals. Many people hate shrinkage in their natural hair mostly because they can’t see their true hair length and it tangles easily.
Well, I’m here to say that your thoughts are valid concerning length retention. However, I think shrinkage is BEAUTIFUL and occasionally should be celebrated. Perhaps I’m bias because I love the look of short hair, but beyond that, shrinkage is a sign of HEALTHY HAIR. And to me healthy natural hair is beautiful. So today’s video includes three easy and elegant hairstyles you can wear on 4a 4b 4c (or any hair type) in it’s state of major shrinkage. These styles are feminine and show off your gorgeous face.
NOTE: When wearing these styles water and moisture is very important. Also, don’t style your hair while it’s dry. Keep hair moist daily with either water or both water and a hair moisturizer/oil. I typically will leave my hair in these styles for 3 or 4 days max, then wet and stretch it into a twist out .

GROW YOUR HAIR
Many of you leave comments that you are having trouble getting your hair to grow. I want to take a second and give a quick shoutout to Melissa of natural hair-products.com. We’re partnering to share valuable information from our blogs and she has written an interesting article on the MSM sulfur compound that many have used to get their hair to grow. There are even incredible before and after photos! I definitely learned something new and I encourage you to check it out too.
If this resonated with you, share it with your friends. Comment below and tell us, which style was your favorite? I personally love the puff style with the flower headband.
