HOW TO USE S CURL JHERI CURL MOISTURIZER ON 4C HAIR
It’s been ages but the time is now. I’m finally putting Lusters Curl and Wave Curl Activator (aka Jheri Curl Gel) to the test!
JUST THREE STEPS
On soaking wet hair, here’s the original cocktail for this wash and go in order of application:
I’ve bypassed the activator moisturizer spray because it contains a preservative that is a formaldehyde releaser (DMDM hydantoin). Then I swapped out the Wetline gel for a comparison of Aunt Jackie’s Flaxseed Elongating Curling Gel vs Eco Styler Olive Oil Gel.
My Cocktail in order of application:
In hindsight, I must say the magic of the S Curl gel is not in the curl definition. The magic is in the moisture retention throughout the week for a type 4 wash and go. It made a huge difference! I highly recommend you try it.
