WATCH THIS BEAUTIFUL BANTU KNOT TUTORIAL

Bantu Knots are a style created by the Zulu people of South Africa, and “bantu” translates to “people” in many African languages. It’s a gorgeous style that has been worn by many celebrities like, Scary Spice, Jada Pinkett Smith (Matrix) and Rihanna. If you enjoy learning about the history of black hairstyles, check out these articles by history.com, and naturallycurly.com.

Quick Tip: This style is a little easier to do on stretched hair, as you can tuck the ends faster, but it doesn’t have to be flat ironed or blow dried. It’s best that the hair is slightly damp, but not soaking wet to help with drying time.
