Camel Coats And Faux Leather For Fall

Has there ever been an outfit that a peacoat didn’t look good with? No seriously. Even with sweat pants and sneakers, a tailored peacoat makes anyone look put together.  Well, this Zara coat is certainly no exception. Camel is one of those classic fall colors that never go out of style and the great news is, so many retailers have various versions of them. You could go for a classic, simple cut like mine with cinching in the waist or try something new and modern. For example, embellished, over-exaggerated shoulders or an oversized menswear look. The options are bountiful and it’s hard to go wrong.

One of the best things I ever did for my wardrobe was bought this faux leather skirt. It’s many years old now, but the good news is, nearly every trendy retailer has a version of one. Of course, you could go with a natural fabric, but the vegan and faux leather skirts are also up to par. Leather skirts are really versatile and can be dressed up or down with heels, like this look, or worn with boots and sneakers. I personally prefer A-line skirts because it gives the illusion of a smaller waist and wider hips, but you should choose the style that suits your body type. Adding a touch of animal print is one way to add pattern to an otherwise solid printed outfit. These Zara shoes are in neutral colors and compliment the grey top and skirt well. The cream and black handbag is surprisingly the piece that ties this outfit together. Plus it’s big and bold! A handbag like this will definitely have people complimenting you on the street left and right. Lastly, I added a black belt and gold jewelry to match the hardware on the handbag, and voila! We’ve got a completed fall outfit that’s sophisticated, chic, and gives big boss energy.
